What's New for 2024

The 2024 Audi S3 is available in three trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Premium

The Premium trim starts at $47,000, before a $1,095 destination fee. Standard exterior equipment includes automatic LED headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a suite of driver safety aids, heated mirrors, a power moonroof, and automatic parking asstance (parallel and perpendicular). Standard interior features include leather upholstery, heated front seats, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, three-zone climate control, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Premium Plus

The Premium Plus ($49,900) adds blind-spot monitoring, memory folding mirrors, driver's-seat memory, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a universal garage door opener, and satellite radio.

Prestige

The Prestige ($53,900) has a navigation system, Bang & Olufsen premium audio, and more.

The 2024 Audi S3 offers just one powertrain option, a turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a seven-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The system puts down 306 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, which is a large amount of power for a subcompact sedan. The results are very quick acceleration and plenty of power in all driving situations. The handling and brakes respond excellently, with good brake feel and a ride that balances sportiness with comfort.

EPA estimates for the 2024 S3 are 23 mpg for city driving and 32 mpg on the highway. That comes out to 26 mpg combined, which is better than the Porsche 718 Cayman (25 mpg) but lags the BMW 2 Series (32 mpg).

The interior of the 2024 Audi S3 is functional and easy to understand while being sporty and luxurious enough to make the daily drive a pleasure. From the bolstered leather seats to the large, nicely wrapped steering wheel, the S3 feels ready to be driven. There is good outward visibility, and the low dashboard and muted interior colors help minimize distractions. The cabin is roomy enough for passengers of average height, but taller occupants may feel snug in the back seats. Cargo space is less than some at 8.3 cubic feet.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come included with Audi's widescreen 10.1-inch touchscreen. The display is crystal-clear and offers an angled view for easy access. Just below it are buttons for the climate control and heated seats, and underneath those is a deep storage cubby for holding small travel items like sunglasses or candy.
