Overview

The Audi S6 is among the most well-rounded sports sedans in the midsize segment. It keeps the A6's quiet interior and top-shelf refinement. The S6's showpiece is a twin-turbo V6 engine churning out 444 horsepower, providing incredible acceleration to match agile handling. The S6 is pricey, and it lacks the thrust of top rivals. Still, it balances luxury, technology, and power better than almost any other sedan on the road.

Verdict

Engine and Performance

The Audi S6 shares its twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 engine with the RS 5. It produces 444 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque, delivering impressive acceleration. The engine connects to an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Drivers can select from different driving modes to adjust the throttle, gear mapping, suspension firmness, and more. The EPA estimates the 2024 S6 should achieve 19 mpg in city driving and 26 mpg on the highway.

Interior

The Audi S6 has a spacious cabin with good headroom and legroom in both rows. The front seats are sportier than you'll find in most sports sedans, with deep side bolsters adding lateral support.
