What's New for 2020

There's only one trim level for the BMW M2. Among the standard equipment are 19-inch wheels, automatic wipers, xenon headlights, keyless ignition/entry, auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic climate control, leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, front seat heaters, driver memory settings, an 8.8-inch infotainment display, Bluetooth connectivity, plus a Harman Kardon sound system with 12 speakers, two USB ports and satellite radio. Buyers can add the Executive package, which includes a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, forward collision warning/mitigation, lane departure warning, automatic high beams and a heated steering wheel. An M2 comes with a factory invoice of about $57,000 and an MSRP of about $59,000. Being a member means that when you visit any Certified Dealer you can expect to be treated well and given an upfront price offer that's packed with savings.

The M2 cabin has a black color scheme with blue accent stitching, plus silver and carbon-fiber trim pieces. BMW kept the design simple and straightforward, making it easy for drivers to find the controls they need and concentrate more on the road or track. Don't expect too much luxury when compared to the M3 or M4. While some surfaces are soft to the touch, others are made of hard but texturized plastics. The seats are comfortable and feature faux suede inserts. Opinions of the BMW iDrive infotainment system run the range. If you have no experience with the technology, it can be a little difficult to use at first. Taking the time to get familiar with it before taking the car out on the road is a good idea. While the front seat area provides ample space, the backseat is pretty cramped and is only suitable for smaller adults or children. Cargo space is excellent at 13.8 cubic feet, and the trunk has a low, wide opening that makes loading and unloading larger items a breeze.
