Chevrolet will need a performance 4 dr sedan to replace the SS.

The 2016 SS is superior in terms of everyday driving to the 2014 Corvette Stingray in every respect other than mileage and the Corvette was an excellent car. Actually quicker around town, great handling and brakes, seats 5 comfortably.

Great deal of fun and practicality for the money.
