Trims and Pricing
Ford offers the Transit Connect Wagon in XL, XLT, and Titanium trim levels. Buyers can select between barn-style rear doors or a rear liftgate.
XL
Pricing starts at $34,360 for the XL, with safety features like automatic emergency braking and rear parking sensors. The Transit Connect has steel wheels, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, vinyl upholstery, folding second and third-row seats, remote keyless entry, tri-zone climate control, a four-speaker sound system, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 4.2-inch screen with Bluetooth.
XLT
The mid-level XLT ($36,475) adds safety tech like blind-spot monitoring, automatic high beams, and lane-keep assist. Other amenities are cloth upholstery, a power driver's seat, floor mats, a 6.5-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, six speakers, voice controls, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
Titanium
The elegant Titanium ($38,560) has leather upholstery, heated front seats, keyless ignition, alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, vinyl cabin trim, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a nine-speaker audio system, HD Radio, and navigation.
Ford offers shoppers optional extras to enhance passenger comfort and safety on the road. These include a panoramic fixed glass roof, including a power shade and roof rails. Remote engine start is available, as is a cockpit-style mid-vehicle overhead console. Buyers can add adaptive cruise control and a forward sensing system for more peace of mind in city traffic and parking.
The available Trailer Tow package increases the van's towing capacity to 2,000 pounds.
Engine and Performance
Interior
Ford's interior is unmatched in its category. The available Sync infotainment system sits atop the dashboard, giving a straightforward view and clear menus. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto offer smartphone owners unrivaled media options. A low dashboard and upright seats provide excellent visibility through the windshield and windows. Seat comfort leads the class, and the Titanium's leather trim adds a welcome touch of luxury.
Considering that the typical family car is longer and wider, interior space is impressive. Up to six people can be transported comfortably. The cabin is configurable; the front passenger seat folds down to become a desk, and the back seats fold flat to make a vast cargo area. Cargo space with all seats in place is an excellent 24.9 cubic feet.

The Starting Market Average is a proprietary mathematical calculation based on actual recent transactions. It provides a statistically accurate understanding of what other buyers are paying for the least expensive configuration of this vehicle. Adjustments to the calculation beyond make, model, and trim are normalized based on detailed, anonymized transaction information. This accounts for the fact that most or all recently-sold vehicles included different option combinations. The data underlying the Starting Market Average calculation are filtered for extreme outliers and subjected to a weighted averaging process that considers factors such as the recency of transactions and the timing of data lags. In certain instances, the calculated result is adjusted to take account of abrupt changes in the market that may not yet be fully reflected by recent transaction prices. In all cases where the Starting Market Average is shown there is sufficient sample size and transaction detail to be statistically reliable.
