The Savana comes in two heavy-duty platforms -- 2500 and 3500 -- with regular or extended wheelbases. Base pricing ranges from $33,000 to $37,000 before options.

GMC’s largest van comes with a few standard features to help it get to and from a job site. Four-wheel disc brakes bring the vehicle to a secure stop, and a full-size spare tire is included for extra peace of mind. A backup camera helps drivers maneuver in and out of parking areas, while the standard halogen headlamps have daytime running lights for better visibility. The Savana’s cabin includes two bucket seats trimmed in vinyl with power windows and door locks. Convenience features include an AM/FM audio system, a WiFi hotspot, and air conditioning.

The American truck brand offers safety amenities to make daily driving more comfortable, like blind-spot monitoring and forward-collision warning. A leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, and a CD player are also available. The Savana can carry more people with the Hotel Shuttle Package, which provides a 5-seat interior and rear-side passenger doors.

The standard powertrain for the GMC Savana is a potent 4.3-liter V6 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Power goes to the rear wheels. This powertrain produces 276 hp and 298 lb-ft of torque. Also available is a 6.6-liter V8 producing 401 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque, mated to a heavy-duty 6-speed transmission.

For a blend of power and fuel efficiency, customers can select a 2.8-liter Duramax turbo-diesel 4-cylinder engine making 181 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque.
