Engine and Performance
Interior
Mercedes gives buyers several seat color and interior trim material options, allowing people to create a customized interior that reflects their style and preferences. The door panels and lower portion of the dash reflect the color of the upholstery, giving the interior a cool two-tone look. The instrument panel features two large gauges and two smaller gauges, plus a large driver information center. The center stack has quite a few buttons, but they are intuitively laid out. The infotainment screen sits at the top of the center stack and is controlled with a knob located on the center console, making it one of the easiest system to use on the market today. The materials used for the interior components are of good quality and feel solid. Overall, the fit and finish is of the level you would expect from Mercedes. The front seats are comfortable and there's plenty of room for taller adults. The rear seating area is a little more cramped, plus the seats are considerably less comfortable. The cargo area behind the rear seats contains 17.2 cubic feet, which is on the small end. Folding down the rear seats expands the cargo capacity to 43.6 cubic feet, which is still on the short end.
