What's New for 2020

The Mercedes-Benz GLE comes in three trims: GLE 350, GLE 450, and GLE 580. The trim names denote different engines. Mercedes’ 4MATIC all-wheel drive is standard on all but the GLE 350, which can also be equipped with rear-wheel drive.

The GLE comes with standard features such as automatic LED headlights, LED taillights, 19-inch wheels, rain sensing wipers, power-folding and heated side mirrors with memory, power sunroof, automatic parking assist, hands-free liftgate, leather upholstery, heated front seats with memory, second-row split-folding bench seat, proximity keyless entry, remote start, auto-dimming rearview mirror, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an 8-speaker sound system.

There is an amazing array of available options for the midsize Mercedes, allowing owners to truly make it their own. Some notable options include a Burmester 25-speaker surround sound system, LED lighting with Ultra Range Highbeam, air suspension, massaging front seats, third-row seating, and heated armrests/door panels.

A GLE 350 comes with a starting price of about $54,000. The GLE 450 costs around $61,500, and the GLE 580 rings in at about $77,000.

As it is a Mercedes-Benz, the GLE exudes elegance and attention to detail. The interior layout is thoroughly modern without being overwhelming, and every touchpoint is made of a substantial material.

The standard feature set is at the forefront of the midsize crossover segment, and the optional features lap those of many comparable SUVs.
