This car is the best of the best Toyotas! I have owned Toyotas for the past 57 years since I was 17 years old. I am most impressed with the idea that this vehicle is the culmination of the progress and innovation that has invited consumers like myself to stay loyal to the quality and assurances that come with purchasing a Toyota. Specific to my 2025 Prius, all the relative features of my previously owned Priuses (2007 & 2015) are included and updated to improve driver safety and performance. These standard features have additional functionality which enhances the car’s capabilities. For example: - The increase of functions on the steering wheel increases greater control over vehicle operations which provides more convenience, comfort, and safety for the driving experience. - The Driver Assist option that can be used during Cruise Control usage provides additional driver safety assurance on the highway. It’s amazing! - The increased number of cameras along with the overhead view of the car increases driver control and confidence in total awareness outside the vehicle. - The Driving Mode Control lets the driver accurately differentiate between city and highway driving. It provides the driver’s ability to maximize the vehicle’s engine performance and gas mileage. - The Plugin Hybrid availability provides an extra added ability for this vehicle to maximize the miles driven per one EV charge plus full tank of gas. It also provides us the opportunity to drive on electricity all week and only use the hybrid option for longer trips (mileage-wise) when necessary. We’ve owned our 2025 Prius Plugin Hybrid about 3 months and have only filled up the gas tank twice! There are many more reasons for liking my car! Honestly, I could go on and on. It’s an AWESOME car!!!

Disappointing and lack of meeting Toyota’s Designing and Manufacturing issues: -I love the JBL systems Toyota has installed in their vehicles over the years. Honestly speaking, I lean more toward preferring the sound systems in my 2007 and 2015 Priuses. Why? The installation placement of the speakers is poor and ineffective at best! I was so looking forward to the JBL 9-speaker system in my new car. But this system has 7 of 9 speakers installed in the front of the cabin. So the music sounds like it’s “blasting” in your face!!! A better strategic plan regarding speaker placement would have made a huge difference in creating a well-balanced and qualitative listening experience. (By the way, I’m a professional studio musician who prefers an outstanding listening experience while driving.) Toyota, definitely, did not get it right on this feature! Very, very disappointed!!! - I’m disappointed in the minimal lumbar support in the front seats. My wife and I find it very uncomfortable during drives over 30 minutes. - No electronic (motorized) control in the passenger seat. For all the awesome features installed on this car (so it can be thought of as a high end quality “Premium XSE” vehicle), the lack of front passenger electronic controls takes a big chunk out of physical comfort while driving in this vehicle. - No spare tire is unheard of and ridiculously dumb. For all the belief, loyalty, and 50+ years of owning just about every model car Toyota has manufactured, it’s confounding to understand how Toyota sells a car of this stature and quality without a spare tire… dumb!!! What was the logic in not providing a spare tire?!?!? - There are no A/C vents located in the backseat area. Again! No logical sense for not providing them. Trying to make backseat passengers more comfortable can be a challenge because of this design.
