The Beetle will be discontinued after 2019. A limited-run Final Edition trim includes special details

Trims and Pricing

The Beetle comes in two trims: S and SE. Both a coupe and convertible are available.

The S trim starts around $21,000, and comes with standard features like blind spot monitoring, 16-inch alloy wheels, and Bluetooth.

The SE trim retails for about $24,500, and adds dual-zone climate control, proximity keyless entry, and leatherette seating.

Engine and Performance

The Volkswagen Beetle employs a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It creates 174 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. It’s hooked up to a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The EPA estimates 26 mpg city, and 33 mpg highway.

Interior

The Beetle’s interior is stylish, retro, and charming. There is room for four, and both rows are comfortable with plenty of headroom.

The Coupe’s trunk is surprisingly roomy at 15.4 cubic feet, while the Convertible’s mechanism knocks that space down to 7.1 cubic feet.

It handles nice on the road, and seems like a solid ride

The seat just isn't as comfy as I remember in my new beetles, the mirrors seem small, the radio etc, seem old, no bud vase, I miss the frame around the window when can is open
